Taking the baton away from Sunny, is Sable. These two had quite a real-life based rivalry in the company. Sable began her career managing Hunter Hearst Helmsley and then went on to manage her husband Marc Mero who ‘rescued’ her from an abusive Helmsley, but she soon became the center of attention as the audience awaited her appearance more than Mero’s.

This led to a storyline where Mero would be jealous of her success and rising popularity. Her popularity will lead to her winning the Women’s Championship once and becoming a very underrated part of the massive success of The Attitude Era. She left in 1999 to return in 2003 and becoming massively popular again.
