More than 20 years later, and still no main event

Former WWE Champion and World Heavyweight Champion Kane has now been on WWE TV for over 20 years. A character that was originally planned to have a shelf life of 6 months, has lasted longer in WWE than Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and many more.

So I find it quite a shame that Kane hasn't gotten a WrestleMania main event, as he probably deserves it far more than others to have gotten in over the past two decades. The timing for a Kane WrestleMania main event has also been good over the years, in my opinion, most notably for the year 2000.

Kane was, pardon the pun, on fire at the time, and deserved it over someone say, like the Big Show, who all though is one the best ever in his own way, wasn't on Kane's WWE level in 2000.
