Austin managed to slowly crawl and roll up Owen Hart to seal the victory as planned to win the Intercontinental Championship. The after-effects of the injury haunted Austin for the rest of his in-ring career.
#1. Mankind suffered multiple injuries at WWE King of the Ring 1998
Who will ever forget this classic between The Undertaker and Mankind from the WWE King of the Ring pay-per-view in 1998?
The most hellacious and brutal Hell in a Cell match in history resulted in multiple injuries for Mankind. After being thrown off the top of the cell onto the announcers' table AND being thrown through the top of the cell to the ring below, how could Mankind not be injured?
Mankind's injuries included a concussion, a disclocated jaw and shoulder, internal bleeding and missing teeth. The daring stunt paid off, as it has now become the most iconic Hell in a Cell match in the history of WWE, and a match people talk about to this very day.
