Triple H has vaguely explained in the past that he supports Premier League club West Ham United because "the passion of their fanbase and their loyalty" resembles WWE.

In reality, we suspect it's for the simple reason that West Ham are nicknamed the Hammers and he uses a sledgehammer in his matches, while the club's crossed-arm gesture is similar to the one that D-Generation X used many years ago.

Whatever the reason, "The Game" seems to know quite a bit about "the beautiful game" and he even delivered a pre-season pep talk to his beloved club at the start of the 2017-18 campaign.
