#3. WWE Superstar Io Shirai

The WWE Universe is used to seeing NXT Superstar Io Shirai in full makeup. Nevertheless, she gave fans a glimpse of her natural beauty when she participated in WWE's no-makeup photoshoot two years ago.

In an interview with WWE.com, the Japanese wrestler disclosed that she was nervous about taking part in the photoshoot.

"I was nervous about being so natural. Usually my character is so strong: strong eyes, strong makeup, strong character, but for now, I'm so natural and just smiling," she said.

After the photoshoot, the female superstars sat together for a candid conversation, during which Shirai revealed that her extensions and makeup give her confidence and get her into fighting mode.

"I'm so scared. Always extensions and makeup give me confidence, but without that, it's so hard to... (...) I'm trying, always trying to be superstar, but if with that makeup and yeah, it gives me confidence. Yeah, so much change my mind to fighting," she explained.

Shirai has not competed on NXT since January 25. Meanwhile, she has performed in a few dark matches on SmackDown over the past few weeks. In her last one, the Japanese superstar went head-to-head with Raquel Gonzalez. However, she lost the bout.
