#6 Kairi Sane

The Pirate Princess turned a lot of heads by winning the Mae Young classic, defeating favourite Shayna Baszler in the final match of the tournament. Gorgeous, fearless, and as sound a performer you will find -- male or female -- it's no wonder Kairi Sane is so high on WWE management's list.
While she is in danger of being considered 'Asuka-lite', Sane has carved out her own niche with her sunny personality and high-risk moves. Kairi Sane will no doubt be on the lips of wrestling fans in the year to come.
Could she be the Queen in 2018?
Chances are good that she will be in the top tier, but we don't see her being as dominant a performer as Asuka in her NXT run. Simply put, Kairi is better at the Daniel Bryan underdog role, where she struggles against a much stronger opponent. While she may taste NXT gold by the end of the year, not being on the main roster or being able to speak English will likely hold her back from ruling the coming year.
