#2 Stone Cold and Dude Love

We saw a lot of unlikely tag-teams in the late 90s and one of the best was the partnership between Stone Cold and Dude Love. Stone Cold was facing the tag-team champions Owen Hart and The British Bulldog without a partner.

Midway through the match Dude Love appeared on the Titantron and cut a promo before coming down to join Stone Cold as his partner. The duo won the match and the tag-team titles after Foley pinned the British Bulldog following a Stunner from Austin.

#1 The Rock and The Undertaker

We finish off our list with the brief tag-team formed by The Rock and The Undertaker – two of the most popular WWE Superstars of all time. The Rock and the Deadman were in the midst of a heated feud after The Undertaker cost the Brahma Bull his WWE Championship at Judgement Day 2000.

This somehow led to the two briefly joining forces to challenge and beat Edge and Christian for the Tag-Team Championships on an episode of RAW in December, 2000. Their reign lasted for only one night though. They dropped the titles back to Edge and Christian at the following night’s SmackDown taping.
