#7 The Basham Brothers

N
Not even as good as their gimmick in WWE

As crazy as it sounds, during their time in OVW, Doug and Danny Basham were bigger main event talent than other OVW stars at that time such as John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista and Brock Lesnar.

Yes, the sky was the limit in OVW for the Bashams, but not so much on WWE TV. Although they did win the WWE Tag team Championships on two occasions, their WWE run did not go too well. They could surely do better in TNA, right? Well, apparently not.

The Bashams debuted for TNA in early 2007, shortly after they were released by WWE, and aided Christy Hemme in her feud with the Voodoo Kin Mafia (New Age Outlaws), where they defeated Kip James (Billy Gunn) in several Handicap matches while Road Dogg was inactive. VKM would defeat the Bashams on consecutive pay-per-views Slammiversary and Victory Road, before parting ways with TNA.
