Torrie Wilson arrived in the WWE as a part of the 2001 invasion of WCW and ECW. As one of the most attractive Divas on the roster, Torrie Wilson was in many matches you’re likely never to see in WWE again. Lingerie matches, Bra and Panties, Playboy Evening gown matches and the like.
She was extremely influential in bringing the male demographic to carry on watching the product following the decline after the Attitude Era. Her feud with Dawn Marie took the WWE by storm and was one of the most interesting Diva feuds from that particular era.
She appeared in Playboy with Sable which led to a feud with the former women’s champion.
Despite staying with the WWE until 2008, she never really had a chance to win the top title in the division and was eventually released from her contract so she could tend to a nagging back injury. She is now retired so it’s unlikely she’ll come back to challenge Bliss or Naomi for the title.
