This is a relatively new championship to be included here, and a lot of people may not agree with it – but the Universal title has come a long way since it was first introduced. In less than two years we’ve seen a handful of fantastic matches between high profile superstars attempting to become a world champion in WWE.
Plus, it’s the only belt in history where you can say that every single title reign meant something. Finn Balor’s one day run, Kevin Owens’ memorable reign, Goldberg’s short & sweet tenure and Brock Lesnar’s current run of domination. They were all important championship runs for very different reasons, and that’s why this title is already so high on the list.
