#4 Brock Lesnar vs CM Punk (No DQ Match) - SummerSlam 2013
The only other person who can make a claim to the "Mr. SummerSlam" moniker is The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar. With 10 appearances at the Biggest Party of the Summer, Lesnar has been in the main event of eight SummerSlam events. Lesnar has also been in the WWE Championship or Universal Championship Match on six of those occasions.
In what may be his greatest SummerSlam performance, Brock Lesnar met CM Punk in No Disqualification match at Summerslam 2013. This first-time ever encounter of two former WWE Champions came to a head due to both men's connection with Paul Heyman. CM Punk returned to WWE after a brief hiatus at the 2013 Payback event to face Chris Jericho.
In that match, Punk defeated Jericho after refusing assistance from Heyman. The following night on RAW, Punk let Heyman know that he would no longer be needing his services after Paul had been in his corner for the better half of Punk's legendary 434-day WWE Championship reign the previous year. Later that same night, Brock Lesnar returned to WWE and laid Punk out with a F-5.
After weeks of Heyman denying involvement, Paul turned his back on Punk, costing him the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. This led to the epic encounter between Brock and Punk for SummerSlam. In this highly anticipated battle, CM Punk went at Brock like no one had before since Lesnar's return to the company. The hard-hitting affair had the Staples Center crowd in awe and stole the show on a night that featured the previously mentioned Cena versus Bryan matchup.
After Punk's desire to get his hands on Heyman got the better of him, Brock finished off the Voice of the Voiceless with a huge F-5 on a steel chair. SummerSlam 2013 is widely considered one of the best editions of the summer spectacle, and this No DQ battle is the best of a great night for WWE.
