#7 Jeff Jarrett vs. Raven - NWA:TNA Pay-Per-View #43
TNA, still aligned with the NWA, had only been active for, not even a year by the time this match happened, just about 10 months in fact. Raven had a rough couple of years prior to this, he hadn't really seen true super stardom since he left ECW in 1997, which was followed by two lackluster runs with WCW and WWE.
By the time he debuted for TNA at the beginning of 2003, his career was almost destroyed, almost. Thanks to TNA treating him like the star he was in ECW, Raven became a star again, and thus this NWA World Championship match with Jeff Jarrett became the first heavily promoted match in company history. The match was a nice mix of Jeff's pure standard wrestling style, with Raven's hardcore antics.

Both men bled heavily, Raven through everything at him, but the kitchen sink, even with tones of interference from James Mitchell's New Church, Justin Credible, Perry Saturn, Vince Russo's S.E.X faction, Sabu and more, and being handcuffed for several minutes, Jarrett overcame it all to pin Raven and retain his title in this blinder.
