This was a very different and unique cage match, mainly because it had more of an MMA feel to it.
This, adding to the already (previously mentioned) tremendous chemistry between Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe, made for a truly phenomenal match. The match featured a series of submissions, reversals to other submissions, strong style kicks, forceful punches, mat wrestling and a nice blend of standard Joe and Angle move sets. Joe pinned Kurt to lift his only TNA Heavyweight Championship after a Muscle Buster.
