#2 The Fingerpoke of Doom

The list of oversells is incomplete without the mention of The Fingerpoke of Doom. The incident took place during an episode of WCW Nitro during their war against WWE in 1999. During the match between Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash, Hogan just poked Nash in the chest, who went on to dramatically oversell it and laid down for the pin to give Hogan the victory.

During an interview with WWE.com, Kevin Nash had the following to say about the infamous incident.

"The “Fingerpoke of Doom” was nothing. The “Fingerpoke of Doom” was just trying to realign The nWo to face off with Goldberg and Goldberg ended up getting injured. I love how the story of my life is how I beat Goldberg to turn around and take the “Fingerpoke of Doom” a week later. Boy, that did me a lot of good. When you look at how people perceive the whole thing, it’s ridiculous."

#1 WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair's "Flair Flop"

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer and 16-time World Champion in WWE, Ric Flair is one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. The Nature Boy has had an amazing career but one of the things that fans remember him for was his Flair Flop.

Ric Flair used to consistently oversell moves in hilarious way through his Flair Flop where he used to take a move, walk a few steps and then fall face-first on the mat. Check out one of the same in the video above.
