Recently, the WWE Universe witnessed a string of WWE Hall of Famers and legends coming back for one night on a special Raw Reunion episode. The episode ended with Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair addressing the fans, followed by Stone Cold Steve Austin sharing beers with the legends.
Austin later announced that he had recorded a podcast with none other than Hulk Hogan. When it comes to the Mount Rushmore of pro-wrestling, fans have always been divided on who sits on the top. Two names that regularly make it to the top of the list are Hogan and Austin. Both of these legends have had incredible careers, and the podcast featuring Hogan didn't disappoint one bit.

#10. Hogan's original career choice
After grinding for a while, Hogan soon became the hottest act in Professional Wrestling at that time. He was the perfect guy to play the part of an American Hero, and Vince McMahon made it a point to utilize him to his fullest potential and help WWE earn millions in the process. But what did Hogan have in mind before deciding to become a pro wrestler?
Hogan stated in the interview that before he was in the business, his goal was to become an accountant. It's baffling to think how different pro wrestling would be today if Hogan would have gone on to become one!
#9. Where did Hogan like to wrestle?
During the 70s and 80s, Hogan wrestled all across the world, appearing in WWE, AWA, NJPW, and various other promotions. Hogan became a major attraction while wrestling in Vince McMahon's WWE, and went on to get involved in the main events of the first 9 WrestleMania shows!
While talking with Austin, Hogan revealed that he preferred wrestling in Japan, as they allowed him to take backdrops and he didn't have to go over matches for hours on end.
#8. Hogan's meeting with Vince
Hogan was all set to wrestle in a 6-man tag team match at the Rosemont Horizon when Steve Taylor approached him. Steve worked for WWE at the time and asked Hogan to give Vince McMahon a call.
According to Hogan, Vince came to his house and they talked for a long while. The duo had some drinks and shook hands at around 4 or 5 in the morning.

#7. Hogan slept for three months in a parking lot
Fame doesn't come overnight. Before he became the biggest attraction in all of North America, Hogan had to go through his fair share of hard times. The Hulkster said that, at one point in his career, he slept in his van in a parking lot for three straight months.
After Hogan became friends with David Schultz, the latter invited him to stay in his apartment, where he became roommates with Schultz and the Honky Tonk Man.
#6. Hogan's biggest regret
Hogan's illustrious career hasn't exactly been a walk in paradise. The Immortal One has gone through a long list of controversies throughout his career. Surely, Hogan has done some things that he regrets all these years later.
Hogan stated that the biggest regret of his pro-wrestling career is using the Leg Drop as his finishing move for years. Hogan added that he wishes he could go back and use a sleeper as his finisher.

#5. His relationship with Andre The Giant
Hogan and Andre The Giant were arguably two of the biggest Superstars in WWE during the early 80s. The duo went on to headline WrestleMania 3 in front of a packed stadium, filled with over 93,000 fans.
Hogan stated that Andre didn't like him back in 1980 when they wrestled at Shea Stadium. Around three years later, Hogan met Andre at WrestleMania 3. By that time, the two had become good friends.
#4. Hogan learned how to sell from Dusty Rhodes
The Hulkster revealed that he watched Dusty Rhodes growing up and one thing that he learned from watching the late Hall of Famer was how amazingly he used to sell his opponents' moves. According to Hogan, a chop to the throat would result in Rhodes falling down "like a tub of s**t". Hogan added that he always wanted to sell like Dusty, but in terms of looks, he preferred 'Superstar' Billy Graham.

#3. When Hogan didn't say 'hello' to CM Punk
Hogan shared an interesting tidbit from more than a decade ago when Monday Night Raw celebrated its 15th anniversary. Hogan was seen saving Hornswoggle from The Great Khali in a segment.
A backstage incident from the same night saw Hogan getting heat because he forgot to say 'hello' to CM Punk. Hogan explained that he wasn't okay in the head at the time, his whole life was falling apart, and that he didn't remember seeing, meeting, or disrespecting anyone that night.
#2. WWE turned down Hogan's movie script
While talking about his movie, Hogan revealed that the script was written around 7 years ago, and he gave a copy of the same to WWE to find out whether they would be interested in helping produce it. WWE had turned down the script at that time.
Hogan also mentioned how he and Eric Bischoff wrote a script themselves, but it was rejected by the writers of the movie, saying "This is a piece of s**t."

#1 Hogan vs. Austin
Possibly the biggest dream match that never happened in WWE has to be Hulk Hogan vs Stone Cold Steve Austin. The stars were aligned for the match back during the buildup to WrestleMania 18, but we got The Rock vs Hogan instead.
Hogan told Austin that it still bothers him to this day that he never had a one-on-one match against The Rattlesnake.
