#8. The connection between Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and the Royal Rumble

This is another round of coincidence involving Roman Reigns and the Royal Rumble.

The Big Dog's first and only victory at the Rumble came back in 2015. The same event featured Brock Lesnar defending his championship against Seth Rollins and John Cena.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

In 2022, Roman Reigns swapped places with Brock Lesnar and defended his title against Seth Rollins. Meanwhile, The Beast Incarnate stood tall in the 30-man match.

And, of course, Paul Heyman was allied with the Champion on both occasions. Just as Reigns challenged Lesnar in 2015, the latter has challenged The Tribal Chief this year.

The only thing missing this time is that Rollins doesn't have the Money in The Bank briefcase. If somehow WWE could give an advantage similar to MITB to Rollins, it would be 2015 all over again.

#7. Only three superstars from the 2015 event entered this year's Rumble

Speaking of 2015, there is another thing to mention besides the Reigns - Lesnar chemistry. Only three superstars who entered the 2015 Rumble made their way to this year's event.

Vince McMahon's promotion has had numerous changes in its composition in the past couple of years. This shocking revelation is evidence of the roster change in WWE.

The three superstars entered from the 2015 edition are Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, and Big E. However, none could win the match.
