Sid Scala quickly became a perennial loser following the launch of the NXT UK brand, suffering defeats against Dave Mastiff, Eddie Dennis and Jordan Devlin during the early weeks of the show in 2018.
Since then, he has appeared frequently on the UK show as the Assistant General Manager to GM Johnny Saint, which means he plays a similar role to Drake Maverick on 205 Live. The only difference is that Scala has to answer to Saint.
One of the most memorable NXT UK matches in recent weeks came when Scala lost to Kassius Ohno in a British Rounds Match (six rounds of three minutes, with a 30-second break between rounds).

Drake Maverick has been a constant presence on WWE television since he was introduced as the General Manager of 205 Live in January 2018.
The former Impact star’s height has not prevented him from being a huge success in WWE. In fact, following his entertaining 24/7 Championship segments in 2019, he is widely regarded as one of the company’s main comedy characters.
He even made a success out of being a manager for the monstrous AOP, leading them to the RAW Tag Team titles in November 2018.
