#7 Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle wasn't even a year into his WWE career when he became a dual champion. Angle dubbed himself the "Eurocontinental Champion" after winning both the European Championship and Intercontinental Championships in February 2000.
To become the WWE European Champion, Angle beat Val Venis on an episode of SmackDown, quickly followed by his defeat of Chris Jericho at No Way Out later that month. Angle's time as Eurocontintal Champion was considerably short, lasting 35 days.

At WrestleMania, Angle was involved in a triple threat match for both belts, facing Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit. In this match, Angle dropped the titles to Jericho without being pinned, so although he was no longer champion, he remained strong, setting the precedent for his future reigns.
Although Angle's time as a double champion was brief, it established him as a big name in WWE and proved to fans that he was more than capable of making the next step to become the WWF Champion. Later in his career, Angle became a Grand Slam Champion, a feat not achieved by many.
