#2 Triple H
At the time of the aforementioned Rock-Austin storyline, Triple H was feuding with The Undertaker. After losing to The Deadman at WrestleMania X-Seven, Triple H moved on to beat Chris Jericho for the Intercontinental Championship, his third run with the title.
Around this time, The Game had aligned with Stone Cold Steve Austin to form The Two-Man Power Trip, with the duo in possession of the Intercontinental Championship and the WWE Championship. The pair dominated WWE TV at the time and tore through the tag team division. That was until the pair matched up with The Undertaker and Kane, with The Game reigniting his rivalry with The Dead Man.

The Power Trip held onto their titles, and also won the Tag Team Championships at Backlash that year. After Backlash, the feud continued, and heated up with The Power Trip broke the arm of Kane. At Judgement Day, Austin caused The Game to lose his Intercontinental title to Kane when he accidentally hit him with a steel chair. However, Triple H stayed loyal to his fellow tag champ and helped him remain WWE Champion in his clash against The Undertaker on the same night.
Unfortunately, The Power Trip's reign as Tag Team Champions came to an end on the next episode of RAW, when the pair was defeated by Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit. Triple H suffered what could have potentially been a career-ending injury during the match, but still managed to finish, amazingly.
