#9 Matt Hardy and MVP
In 2007, Matt Hardy and MVP were thrown together to become an odd couple pairing. Leading up to the two pairing up, they were feuding over the WWE United States Championship.
After Hardy was defeated, MVP claimed that he was better at everything, leading to the duo competing in literally anything but wrestling - including basketball, arm wrestling and chess.
Following this, MVP accidentally choose his rival to be his tag team partner, and they managed to beat Deuce 'n' Domino for the WWE Championship. The unlikely champions later dropped the titles to The Miz and John Morrison, and during the match, MVP actually attacked his tag team partner.
The pair losing the titles re-ignited the rivalry between the them. WWE informed fans that due to the attack, Hardy was injured and unable to compete. The former champion later returned at WrestleMania XXIV, where he interrupted the Money in the Bank ladder match to prevent MVP from winning.
At Backlash that year, MVP lost the United States Championship to his former tag team partner, ending their rivalry and starting Hardy's reign as a fighting champion.
