Team Hell No was a big fixture in the tag team championship picture

In 2013, Daniel Bryan was involved in an on-screen romantic relationship with AJ Lee, and a three-way feud with Kane and CM Punk over the WWE Championship. Bryan proposed to Lee on an episode of RAW, which she accepted. However, the wedding ended in disaster when Bryan was left at the altar by Lee, who decided to take the offer of becoming RAW General Manager from Mr. McMahon.

After Lee's rejection turned Bryan into a more angry character, he and Kane were ordered by Lee and Dr. Shelby to anger management, and we placed together into a tag team, called Team Hell No. Despite the pair constantly bickering, they worked well together and quickly became fan favorites.

Team Hell No became WWE Tag Team Champions after defeating the team of Kofi Kingston and R-Truth at Night of Champions. The pair began a long feud with the Rhodes Scholars, defending the championship against them on multiple occasions. They eventually lost the titles to The Shield at Extreme Rules 2013, ending their reign at 245 days.

Team Hell No did unite briefly in 2018 on WWE SmackDown when Kane returned to help Bryan even the odds against Bludgeon Brothers.
