#3 Still no women’s singles match at WrestleMania

The women of WWE have made history countless times over the last 2-3 years and will do so again in 2018 when the first-ever all-female Royal Rumble match takes place in January.
However, did you know that there hasn’t been a single one-on-one match between two women at WrestleMania since Melina defended her Women’s Championship in a short match against Ashley Massaro in 2007?
It’s a shocking statistic and a run that will surely come to an end when the Royal Rumble winner is granted a one-on-one title opportunity at “The Show of Shows”, but it’s still surprising that it has taken 11 years for this to happen.
As good as the Women’s Evolution has been, we haven’t seen anywhere near as many memorable one-on-one feuds as maybe we should.
