#4 Ali apologizes to WWE Universe for being unable to compete in the Elimination Chamber
After Survivor Series 2018, WWE brought Ali over to SmackDown Live from 205 Live for a one-off appearance. His match that night against Daniel Bryan impressed the people backstage so much that the move was made permanent the following week.
Over the next few weeks, Ali got a main-event star treatment and was also inserted into the Elimination Chamber match. However, the minor injuries suffered over the course of time caught up with him and WWE rendered Ali unable to compete inside the Chamber. He posted a video tweet about it, apologizing to the WWE Universe for letting everyone down.
Ali was replaced by Kofi, who went on to become the WWE champion at Wrestlemania while the former was relegated to the mid-card upon returning.
Bad luck or timing could ideally be used to describe Ali's situation. But one thing that we can't take away is that Ali will get his due again and hopefully, he makes the amends this time.
