Sasha Banks and Bayley Become WWE Women's Tag Champions
Back in 2019, the women’s tag championship was created, with their inaugural champions set to be crowned at WWE Elimination Chamber. Sasha Banks and Bayley faced Fire and Desire, Riott Squad, Nia Jax and Tamina, Naomi and Carmella, and The IIconics. The match gave us high hopes for a women’s tag division in WWE, showcasing how entertaining The IIconics were, the talent of Fire and Desire, and the chemistry between Sasha and Bayley.

Becky Two Belts
Along with 2018 being a year of firsts, 2019 continued that trend by following the creation of the women’s tag championship with the first-ever women’s main event at Wrestlemania.
Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey had a whole lot of beef leading up to Mania, with Charlotte Flair popping her nose in along the way, with the trio even getting arrested backstage (and Ronda somehow driving a police car handcuffed, but I digress). Women main eventing at WrestleMania was a long time coming, and the feel good ending of Becky looking completely disheveled, holding her two freshly-won titles aloft still feels absolutely huge.
