#4 The Undertaker
The Phenom is just an institution in himself. He is and has been the backbone of WWE for 28 years. There is and will never be anyone quite like him. His aura is unparalleled and he is the most iconic character in history. He is a global icon and is known to almost everyone. His once 21-0 WrestleMania streak remains to be one of the biggest wrestling achievements ever.
Just like his brother Kane, his 7 world title achievements dwarf in front of the bone-chilling aura he creates and the mystique and legend associated with him. Everyone respects him for his immense contributions to the industry and for his rigorous efforts for entertaining us. He is the most respected wrestlers backstage and has also been credited to be the locker room leader. It is said that for a WWE superstar its okay to upset Vince but not to upset The Deadman.
A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE
People talk about passing the torch, but I say the torch belongs to him and he has judiciously allowed various people to hold it over the years. Even if he retired a decade and a half ago he would still deserve to be the Hall of Fame headliner, the very next year.
Just as John Cena said, "as long as there is a WWE the name Undertaker will always have meaning." Fans always have and always will love him, and whenever WWE needs to boost ticket sales, they'll invoke the Deadman.
