Everybody loves a good brawl, and while they may have been a bit overused in the last few years, they were certainly much fresher back in 2012. Because of that, it was extremely refreshing to see John Cena & Brock Lesnar go at it on Monday Night Raw – especially when The Doctor of Thuganomcis got busted open.
It added that extra sense of realism to a feud that was already white hot because of Brock’s return, and while it was disappointing to see Cena win the eventual match at Extreme Rules, this was one hell of an impressive moment that WWE managed to pull off.
Also, if you haven’t picked up on it yet, it seems as if the more people that are involved in a segment equals more views. Odd.
