Who’s a more unexpected Number 1 Contender than even James Ellsworth? Well, that honour goes to Mr. Eric Bischoff. During his tenure as General Manager of Monday Night Raw, Bischoff found himself in a WWE Championship match against John Cena in 2005.

No matter who else becomes Number 1 Contender for the WWE Title in the future, don’t expect them to be more unexpected than Eric Bischoff.
