#5 Ricochet
So, Ricochet is currently facing some time on the sidelines and still looks like he has plenty left to do in NXT. There was every chance I was going to leave the King of Flight off of this list as stars like himself and EC3 have just arrived and, well, could easily hold either singles title in NXT for a long time before making the move up.
Since appearing at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia, in the front row in January, Ricochet has made headlines - from his WWE debut shortly after against Fabian Aichner to his participation in the five-star Six-Man Ladder Match for the NXT North American Championship, to his rivalry with Velveteen Dream that spurred this viral video.
Ricochet is currently scheduled to face Adam Cole for the North American Championship set for NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn at SummerSlam weekend. You'd have to think the star formerly known as Prince Puma may be a staple of NXT for a long time to come, but it would not be a huge surprise to see him brought to Raw or SmackDown to inject either brand with a new lease of life!
