Returning to a WWE developmental system after four months on the main roster could be seen as a huge demotion, but Bray Wyatt took full advantage of the opportunity that was presented to him.

He continued to hone his skills as an in-ring performer in FCW in 2011 and 2012, winning the Tag Team titles with Bo Dallas for the second time, while he introduced his new Bray Wyatt character in April 2012.

With Luke Harper and Erick Rowan by his side, Bray Wyatt made an instant impact after his re-debut on the main roster by defeating Kane in an inferno match at SummerSlam 2013.

WWE used Bray Wyatt very strategically during his first few months on RAW and SmackDown, with the Wyatt Family leader often watching on as Harper and Rowan did his dirty work for him.

A compelling storyline with Daniel Bryan followed, while all three members of The Wyatt Family feuded with WWE’s other dominant three-man group at the time, The Shield, in early 2014.
