#8 Kenny Omega might portray a 'free agent'
Back in the year 2006, a Montel Vontavious Porter -- better known by his initials MVP -- started showing up in the crowd at Smackdown events. Despite the fact that he hadn't wrestled prominently in other organizations, the announcers and then Smackdown general manager Teddy Long all described him as a coveted free agent.
Oddly he would not appear in the crowd on Raw, which somewhat lessened the effect his gimmick had. After all, wouldn't a hot free agent be courted by both brands of WWE?

WWE might try a similar tactic with Kenny Omega. They realize that he is well known to many fans, and he might show up in the crowd and Raw and Smackdown events, or be 'wined and dined' by the general managers of both brands. This technique would build up anticipation of Omega's eventual debut, and add to the overall drama of his arrival.
