Bobby Roode had nearly a two-month run with the WWE United States Championship on SmackDown Live to kickoff 2018. With the WWE Championship potentially being tied up until SummerSlam between Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles, it makes complete sense to move Roode to Monday Night Raw and turn him heel.
Everyone loves the GLORIOUS entrance music, and Bobby's done fine as a babyface, but you only have to go back as far as NXT to see that Roode is a much better heel. Monday Night Raw really lacks top heels at the moment; which is where the Glorious One would be a great fit.
