Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre was supposed to be the chosen one, the one handpicked by Vince McMahon to one day be a top WWE star. But, it didn't quite turn out that way for the Scottish Psychopath in his first run with the company.
McIntyre, who was a part of the 3MB faction along with Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater, was released by WWE in 2014. But, he didn't quite give up on his wrestling career, wrestling in the indies and TNA before rejoining WWE in 2017.
He quickly became NXT Champion, before being moved to the main roster and becoming a top heel on WWE television.
Jinder Mahal
Another member of 3MB that was released in 2014 was Jinder Mahal. Mahal, who had joined FCW, WWE's developmental territory in 2010, moved to the main roster in 2011.
But after a few years, he was released by WWE, which resulted in him going back to the drawing board and getting in fantastic shape. He rejoined WWE in 2016, before winning the WWE Championship and also the United States Championship.
