Having been born in a family already into pro-wrestling, Bray joined NXT in 2010 under the name Husky Harris. Later, he became Bray Wyatt and formed the Wyatt family and had an impressive start on the main roster, only for the gimmick to become stale later on.

The year 2019 was a turning point in his career, as he debuted a new gimmick as the ever-smiling yet creepy Firefly Funhouse host who had a sadistic alter-ego known as The Fiend.
