#4 Pentagon Jr. and Fenix to head towards WWE in 2019

Pentagon Jr. and Fenix are the biggest names in the independent circuit after the departure of Matt Riddle. While the former is known for his hardcore bouts, the latter is regarded by many as Mexico's greatest active high-flyer. But WWE being a corporate juggernaut, is leaving no stones upturned to have the Lucha Brothers in their company.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter speculates that the Lucha Brothers can board the ship sailing towards WWE anytime in 2019. Here is the full transcript (H/T: Sescoops):

“The main thing is that both are not taking any dates in 2019 which is usually a sign of going to WWE.”

WWE has a history of improperly utilising the luchadors they acquire. If Pentagon Jr. heads towards WWE, he will not be able to put in hardcore matches because WWE is a PG product. As far as Fenix is concerned, he would be limited to 205 live.
