The fans would love to see this iconic duo once again
You would think that after the Rusev-Lana-Bobby Lashley storyline, the ‘Bulgarian Brute’ would be in for a huge push. Unfortunately, that was far from the truth. Rusev, who is one of the most over Superstars in WWE, was also released as a cost-cutting measure. But he is too good to be ignored by literally any other wrestling promotion in the world. He is a fantastic wrestler, has incredible charisma, and can play the role of both a heel and a face quite efficiently.

Not so long ago, Rusev had a constant by his side who went by the name Aiden English. The duo used to work as the tag team and English’s announcement ahead of Rusev’s arrival would have the entire arena on its foot. But soon after that, English was reduced to the role of Rusev’s hypeman who would help him in his matches. Funnily enough, it was Aiden English who first warned Rusev about the possible betrayal from Lana before he parted ways with his friend and started working as a commentator for WWE.

Now that both Rusev and Aiden English have exited WWE, they both can reunite and for a tag team if they join AEW. They are both talented Superstars and AEW would not want to miss out on a chance of getting their hands on two reliable performers.
