Kurt Angle is the only Olympic gold medalist in professional wrestling history. He has been huge since the day he first stepped foot in a WWE ring. And he was surely one of the highest paid talents on the roster, even before having his first ever pro wrestling bout.
Over the years he has shown that he was worth the money and then some. His transition from one of the greatest amateur wrestlers ever to one of the best pro wrestlers ever has been fascinating to see.
Today he still works for the WWE in the role of an on-screen general manager but occasionally you can find him German suplexing a few wrestlers as well.
