#6 Is Reigns really the ‘Big Dog’ in his yard?

Roman Reigns did go on to conquer John Cena after hitting a Superman punch/spear combo to defeat him cleanly in the middle of the ring.
WWE would like you to believe that this was a passing of the torch from Cena that cements Reigns as the top guy in the company. But in reality, has Reigns shown enough in this feud to be able to call himself the top dog?

For me, he hasn’t.
Reigns clearly struggled in his face-to-face promos with Cena on Raw and then had a fairly average match last night at No Mercy. It would be harsh to say Reigns has had a poor few weeks, but it hasn’t been great.
If anything, this feud has shown that while Reigns is a very talented performer, he is a long way away from being the face of the company. The ‘passing of the torch’ moment last night felt contrived by WWE rather than a genuine moment of Reigns rising to the top.
