These are the guys who started it all. The Elite which consists of Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega and Hangman Page. In a way, they are the core of the company. They are the epitome of the gold standard of wrestling and the 'E' in AEW. They can either be the faces of the company or be the inbuilt authority figures when the storyline demands it.

While some may point out that they could run into problems as to when they're booking themselves in matches, recent evidence suggests that they're able to look beyond themselves. To quote Spock, "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few."
For example, Kenny Omega lost to Chris Jericho. Cody Rhodes battled to a draw against Darby Allin. The Lucha Brothers will be taking on The Young Bucks in a ladder match at AEW All Out. And it could be the luchadores going over this time around.
Who knows what's going to happen on the first live TNT show? But it's going to be a fun ride. What could happen? Well, we'll have to tune in and find out.
