#8 The B-Team
Now, this seems like an odd entry - as the previous two gimmicks of Axel and Dallas have been in spite of Creative having nothing for them. Both Social Outcasts and the B-Team have taken advantage of, and even poked fun at, Dallas and Axel's journey into obscurity.
Of course, these gimmicks have a shelf-life and, even as a team, Dallas and Axel have gone from champions to invisible men in months.
Let's go back a bit further, though, Bo Dallas was once the longest reigning NXT Champion and had an impressive main roster debut in the Royal Rumble where he lasted 20 minutes and eliminated then Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, before defeating him, Dolph Ziggler and The Great Khali during an initial win streak.
Losing to Mark Henry quickly, though, and a four-month spell on the sidelines that effectively killed his singles push, and then return with no momentum, being a sacrifical lamb to Sting and Brock Lesnar.
As for Curtis Axel, he was the runner-up of season two of NXT in its original contest form and even represented Nexus on the main brand, before returning to NXT as the top star he was before leaving. Axel was paired with Paul Heyman upon his main roster call-up and won the Intercontinental Championship, but Brock Lesnar's advocate left Axel behind before he had even dropped the belt - which didn't take too long to follow.
Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel are both third-generation Superstars, but that doesn't quite help them get on television and get wins.
