And here's two for the price of one again. At one point, The Ascension was WWE's hottest prospects and most dominant forces. Konnor and Viktor even still hold the record of being NXT's longest-reigning Tag Team Champions with a reign of one day short of a year.

Now, though, whenever The Ascension is in the ring, you can almost guarantee their opposition is going to win, and most likely in super-quick time.

On the main roster, though, the most recent thing of note we've seen from them was the odd cameo in Fashion Files segments, and that was way back at the beginning of last year.
In September, almost exactly one year ago, Konnor won a singles match against Chad Gable on RAW with Konnor won a singles match the next week against Bobby Roode. Were things changing?
Well, one week later, they were defeated by Gable and Roode in a tag team match and they've been out of favour (again) ever since.
