Neville won the feud and moved on to battle Titus Worldwide’s Akira Tozawa. Tozawa defeated the King of Cruiserweights on a RAW episode to win his first championship in WWE.

However, the Japanese superstar’s reign ended 6 nights later on the SummerSlam kick-off show at the hands of Neville. The British superstar then was involved in a feud with the division’s most controversial character, Enzo Amore.

Neville lost the title to Enzo at the No Mercy PPV after the latter him with a low blow. WWE Creative’s poor booking led the King of Cruiserweights walking out.
