![Former NFL star Baron Corbin has made the transition to wrestler quite well.](https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2017/11/dd2ab-1511418500-800.jpg?w=190 190w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2017/11/dd2ab-1511418500-800.jpg?w=720 720w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2017/11/dd2ab-1511418500-800.jpg?w=640 640w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2017/11/dd2ab-1511418500-800.jpg?w=1045 1045w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2017/11/dd2ab-1511418500-800.jpg?w=1200 1200w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2017/11/dd2ab-1511418500-800.jpg?w=1460 1460w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2017/11/dd2ab-1511418500-800.jpg?w=1600 1600w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2017/11/dd2ab-1511418500-800.jpg 1920w)
Even though he may move up and down the card like the proverbial yo-yo, The Miz is always prominently featured on WWE programming and has been for years. Defeating the former world champion is no small feat, and that's why it carries such significance that Baron Corbin beat him decisively at Survivor Series.
Rumor has it that management is even higher on Corbin than Braun Strowman, so be sure to watch what the Lone Wolf does in the coming year. Perhaps he will finally break out of the mid-card into a full-time main event spot.
