#2 Why feuding with Dean Ambrose was terrifying

Wwhen setting up the match with Dean Ambrose inside the Ambrose Asylum (which Y2J said Vince loved because he loves "first" anything) the Fozzy star said Ambrose was adamant thumb tacks would be used.

"Ambrose wanted to use thumb tacks. I told him, 'You're f---ing taking the bump. There's no way I'm doing that s--t.'"

But realisation soon set in for Jericho when Vince okayed the use of tacks...and confirmed that Ambrose was going over. In true Jericho style, and in a way we've grown to expect from the GOAT, Y2J knew what he had to do.

"If Ambrose goes over after going into the tacks, it's a waste."

Jericho said he called the Dudleys, Tommy Dreamer and Mick Foley before taking the bump because he was terrified, stating it was like "1,000 steely knives" going into his body.

Neither the tacks nor the number of tacks stated was a gimmick, with Y2J confirming he had 68 tacks in his body...and then sat on one backstage to make the number 69.

Meanwhile, the star of the feud, Mitch the Potted Plant, stole the limelight as Jericho jokes more people were concerned about the plant than his wellbeing - and adding that said plant came as a result of "budget cuts" to the Highlight Reel, and Ambrose joking that a potted plant would be hilarious. Said plant was stolen from the Anaheim Center as they couldn't get hold of one.
