Going into the Royal Rumble, the 'smart' money was on one of two men emerging victorious - Braun Strowman or Drew McIntyre.

Strowman has been in the main event picture for some time in the WWE, and DrewMcIntyree is the chosen one, the man whom Vince McMahon stood in the ring with and proclaimed a future world champion.
However, neither of those two stalwarts managed to out last the Cross Fit Jesus himself, Seth Rollins. While Seth spent most of 2018 languishing in the tag team division or the midcard, it seems as if 2019 will be the year he climbs back to the top of the heap.
He was used once before when WWE believed Roman Reigns wasn't quite ready to be the top guy in the company, and now it seems he will once again fill in for the Big Dog.
