One of the most memorable moments from Wrestlemania is when Strike Force--Tito Santana and Rick Martel--defeated the much more heavily favored veteran team the Hart Foundation for the WWE Tag Team titles.
A year later, they were themselves defeated by Demolition in another memorable bout that launched one of the longest tag team title reigns in modern history.
However, the last few years have seen tag team wrestling treated as an afterthought rather than a major event. Sometimes the tag team matches are even relegated to the Wrestlemania pre-show instead of the prestigious event itself. This sends the wrong message to the fans about how they should perceive tag team wrestling.
At Wrestlemania 35, fans want to see the tag team division treated as something special again, just as it was in the past.
