In an effort to make Wrestlemania feel more special, and not just a slightly bigger pro wrestling event, Vince McMahon has often made a concerted effort to include celebrities in the show.
This includes music industry legends like Cyndi Lauper, who accompanied Wendy Richter to the ring for her victorious Wrestlemania match against the Fabulous Moolah, to Mike Tyson, who punched out Shawn Michaels after turning on D-Generation X.
Other celebrities included a pre-presidential Donald Trump and Snoop Dogg. Then, on occasion, there are those celebrities who actually lace up the boots and wrestle, like Lawrence Turner--LT--when he took on Bam Bam Bigelow in the main event of Wrestlemania XI.
Fans would like to see some celebrity appearances to give Wrestlemania 35 that 'big match feel,' rather than just seeming like a glorified run of the mill pay per view.
