Wembley – we’re coming

Every year at WrestleMania, one of the traditions of the event is a promo video that promotes the following year’s edition of the show. So then, why not start doing that for SummerSlam – starting off in a big way. Thirty years after the first ever SummerSlam, we want to see Wembley Stadium in England host the event for the second time.

There are obvious risks involved which have been pointed out several times over the years, but in terms of venues, you aren’t going to find many better in the world. If you leak this news more than a year in advance, then we guarantee that you’ll end up with attendances in excess of 80,000 and potentially even closer to 90,000.
