#1 Triple H never defeated Batista

In the early 2000s, Triple H took Batista and Randy Orton under his wing and groomed them to become future world champions. However, little did he realise at the time that his protege would go on to become the biggest thorn in his side. Batista dethroned Triple H at WrestleMania in 2005 to become the new World Heavyweight Champion and trounced the Game in four other televised matches.
After losing to Batista at WrestleMania, Triple H unsuccessfully challenged ‘The Animal’ at WWE Backlash and lost to the champion once again on Raw. The final chapter in their story was written in June 2005 when Batista faced Triple H in a Hell In A Cell match at Vengeance.
The Animal once again vanquished ‘The King of Kings’, handing him his former mentor a fourth successive defeat.
