AJ Styles has been a phenomenal talent in the world of wrestling for well over two decades. Styles has traveled all around the world and featured on all the top wrestling promotions in the world, including WWE.

While we’ve seen The Phenomenal One lock horns with almost every top wrestler in the industry, one WWE Superstar he badly wants to face before he retires is Edge.

However, the WWE Universe wants to see the two men go one-on-one at least once in their career, and Styles has shared the same views:

“I've got to have a match with Edge before him and I both retire. I think that's something that we both want. I know he tore his tricep, and hopefully it's a speedy recovery for him. That's one that I want badly, and I think that he would like to have one as well. It would be great. I'm still looking forward to it, Edge”

Not only Styles but Edge too feels the same about the prospect of a match against The Phenomenal One:

"AJ Styles and Edge has to happen," Edge said. "In 25 years in the same industry, we've never touched. How is that possible?”

While Edge is currently battling an injury, and already has a score to settle with Randy Orton, WWE will likely allow the two men to go head-to-head on a big stage sooner than later.
