While the majority of Total Divas cast members have won titles in NXT or on the main roster, Sonya Deville had never been a Women’s Champion in WWE when the ninth season of Total Divas began.

In one heated exchange with Natalya, Deville accused her Total Divas co-worker of constantly talking about Liv Morgan, Mandy Rose and Carmella as possible Women’s Champions. However, according to Deville, Natalya never included her in the conversation.

“Every time we talk about the title picture, you literally… ‘I can see Liv with the title, I can see Mandy with the title, I can see Carmella with the title.’ It’s like you can never see Sonya with the title... No, no, no. It’s just, you’ve literally said this to me five or six times.”

Natalya said Deville was overthinking and questioned why the former Fire & Desire member brought her girlfriend, Arianna, on a trip to Hawaii that was supposed to only consist of WWE Superstars who competed at WrestleMania 35.
